Composition
Active substance:
5 ml syrup contains: salbutamol sulphate – 1,205 mg, which is equivalent to salbutamol – 1 mg, bromhexine hydrochloride – 2mg, guaifenesin – 50 mg, menthol (levomenthol) – 0.5 mg.
Excipients:
Methyl parahydroxybenzoate Sodium – 7.5 mg propyl parahydroxybenzoate Sodium – 5.0 mg, sucrose – 2500.0 mg propylene glycol – 625.0 mg Sodium saccharinate – 5.0 mg Sorbic Acid – 10.0 mg Glycerol – 250, 0 mg citric acid monohydrate – 1.4 mg of sorbitol (non-crystallizable) liquid – 1315.0 mg, sunset yellow dye – 0.15 mg purified water – up to 5 ml.

1. 100 ml amber glass vial, a sealed aluminum lid c inscription “Dzhoset®” with the control of the first opening. One vial complete with measured glass and 15 ml of instruction on use is placed in a cardboard box.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components within the drug, tachyarrhythmia, myocarditis, aortic stenosis, decompensated diabetes, thyrotoxicosis, glaucoma, hepatic and / or renal failure; gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer (in the acute stage), gastric bleeding, pregnancy, lactation, fructose intolerance.
C care
Diabetes, hypertension, peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer (in history); antitussives simultaneous application, non-selective beta-adrenoceptor blockers, and monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO).

Indications
Acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases accompanied by obstruction of sputum discharge: bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, tracheobronchitis, pneumonia, pneumoconiosis, pulmonary tuberculosis.
Interaction with other drugs
Beta2-Adrenomimeticalkie funds, theophylline and other xanthine, while the use of drugs increases the likelihood of development of tachyarrhythmias.
MAO inhibitors and tricyclic antidepressants increase the effect of salbutamol, may lead to a sharp decrease in blood pressure.
Diuretics and steroids increase hypokalemic effect of salbutamol.
Simultaneous with the appointment of preparations containing codeine and other antitussive difficult expectoration of liquefied sputum.
Part of the drug bromhexine facilitates the penetration of antibiotics into the lung tissue. Not recommended for use in conjunction with non-selective beta-adrenergic receptors.
Overdose
Symptomatology: increasing incidence of side effects described. Treatment: symptomatic.

Pharmacological properties:
Combined preparation. It has a bronchodilator, expectorant and mukoliti-agency action.
Salbutamol – a bronchodilator and stimulates beta2-adrenergic receptors of the bronchi, prevents or relieves bronchospasm.
Bromhexinum – mucolytic agent, has expectorant and weak antitussive effect. Reduces the viscosity of sputum by depolarization stimulation acidic mucopolysaccharides and secretory cells of the bronchial mucosa. Cilia activates the ciliated epithelium, thereby improving expectoration.
Gvayfenezin – reduces the surface tension and adhesion properties of sputum increases serous components bronchial secretion, reduces the viscosity of sputum, bronchial activates ciliary apparatus, facilitates the removal of sputum and facilitates the transition nonproductive cough productive.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

Guaifenesin urine stains pink.

Dosing and Administration
Inside.
Babies: at age 6 – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3 times a day.
from 6 to 12 years – 1-2 teaspoonful (5 ml – 10 ml) 3 times a day.
Adults and children over 12 years – 2 teaspoons (10 ml) 3 times a day.
