Composition
Active substance:
For 1 ml (20 drops) dimethindene maleate 1 mg.
Excipients:
sodium hydrogenphosphate dodecahydrate – 16 mg citric acid monohydrate – 5 mg Benzoic acid – 1 mg Disodium edetate – 1 mg, sodium saccharin – 0.5 mg, propylene glycol – 100 mg Purified water – 888.5 mg.
Description:
Drops for oral administration in the form of a colorless transparent liquid, almost odorless.

Contraindications

Indications

Interaction with other drugs
Fenistil® enhances the effect of anxiolytics, hypnotics, and other drugs that have a depressing effect on the CNS (opioid analgesics, anticonvulsants, tricyclic antidepressants, MAO inhibitors, antihistamines, anti-emetics, neuroleptics, scopolamine, ethanol). Tricyclic antidepressants and m-holinoblokatory (including bronchodilators, spasmolytics) increase the risk of increased intraocular pressure or urinary retention. You should avoid joint use of antihistamines and procarbazine.
Overdose
Symptoms: CNS depression, and somnolence (mainly in adults), CNS stimulation and m-anticholinergic effects (especially in children), including: excitation, ataxia, tachycardia, hallucinations, tonic or clonic convulsions, mydriasis, xerostomia, flushing, urinary retention, fever, reduced blood pressure, collapse. Treatment: to assign activated charcoal, saline laxative; to take measures to maintain the function of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems (not to use analeptic).

Dosing and Administration
The drug is taken orally. Children aged 1 month to 12 years recommended daily dose rate of 100 mcg / kg body weight, which is equivalent to 2 drops per kg body weight.
