Composition
Active substance:
1 ml of solution contains: 0.25 mg of isotretinoin.
Excipients:
Butylhydroxytoluene, butylhydroxyanisole, propylene glycol, ethanol (ethyl alcohol) 95% to 1.0 ml.
Description:
Transparent oily liquid from light-yellow to yellow color with a faint characteristic odor of ethanol.
Product form:
A solution for external use 0.025% to 10, 15, 20, 30 and 50 mL amber glass vials. Each vial together with instructions for medical application is placed in a pile of cardboard.
Contraindications
Increased individual sensitivity to the drug. Used with caution in chronic liver disease, kidney disease, chronic pancreatitis, cardiac decompensation.

Indications
In adults and adolescents over 11 years of papules, pustular and comedonal form of acne vulgaris, rosacea (with a small number of lesions), perioral dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, mild expressed. After the cancellation of retinoid applied orally or rectally, Retasol® possible using the drug in order to maintain the achieved clinical effect.
Interaction with other drugs
The solution should not be administered to patients who receive other drugs from the group of retinoids, to reduce the risk of hypervitaminosis A. Action solution attenuated with concomitant administration of the tetracycline group of antibiotics, as well as the topical application of corticosteroids.
Overdose
With prolonged use may overdose phenomena: redness and scaling of the skin at the site of drug, cheilitis. Overdose phenomena rapidly disappear after discontinuation of the drug, and the use of corticosteroids.

Pharmacological properties:
Isotretinoin is one of the biologically active form of vitamin A. It inhibits terminal differentiation of sebocytes, hyperproliferation of epithelial excretory ducts of the sebaceous glands, normalizes the composition of their secretion and facilitates its evacuation. This reduces sebum, facilitates its isolation, normal composition, reduced inflammatory reaction around the glands. The solution has antiseborrheic, anti-inflammatory, keratolytic action; regeneration processes in the skin.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Contraindicated during pregnancy, breastfeeding and women planning pregnancy.

side effects
In the first week of treatment may experience reactions aggravation – the appearance of new lesions, itching, swelling, redness and flaking of the skin. With acute reaction is recommended to stop the treatment for a few days until it subsided. In some cases, there is intolerance of the drug – the first – the second day of the application appear maculopapular rash, itching and swelling. special instructions
It is not recommended to apply the solution to the skin around the eyes, as well as in patients with severe acute inflammation. Should not be applied to the mucous membranes. Dosing and Administration
The solution was applied with a cotton swab to clean skin (after washing or wiping toner not containing alcohol), 2 times per day. Duration of treatment – 4 – 12 weeks. Repeated treatment is possible after consultation with the doctor.
