Composition
Active substance:
1 tablet contains: nystatin – 500,000 IU ;.
Excipients:
Sugars, calcium stearate, talc, potato starch, methylcellulose, polysorbate 80, titanium dioxide, quinoline yellow E-104, orange yellow E-110.
Description:
Tablets of circular shape, film-coated light yellow color with a greenish tinge, biconcave.
Product form:
10 tablets in blisters. Two outline package together with instructions for use placed in a pile of cardboard.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any other component of the drug.
Indications
For the treatment of intestinal infections of the gastrointestinal tract caused by nistatinchuvstvitelnymi yeast fungi of the genus Candida, during treatment with drugs that promote the growth of Candida in the gastrointestinal tract (eg, broad-spectrum antibiotics, corticosteroids, cytotoxic agents).

Pharmacodynamics:
Polyene antifungal antibiotic highly active against yeast-like fungi of the genus Candida. In the structure of the antibiotic are double bonds having a high affinity for cell membrane sterol of fungi structures, which contributes to the incorporation of the drug molecule in the cell membrane and the formation of a large number of channels through which the uncontrolled transport of electrolytes; increase the osmolarity within the cell leads to its death. Resistance develops very slowly.
Pharmacokinetics:
It possesses weak resorptive action (practically not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract). Displayed through the intestines. Not accumulates.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
