Composition
Active substance:
100 ml of the preparation contains: iodine – 100 mg.
Excipients:
Potassium iodide – 300 mg PVA – 900 mg, purified water – 100 ml.
Description:
Liquid dark blue color with a characteristic smell, foaming upon agitation. Admits the following foaming at the blank of the vial.
Product form:
Solution for local and external application.
50 ml or 100 ml vials of amber glass. Each vial together with instructions for use placed in a pile of cardboard.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, thyrotoxicosis, dermatitis herpetiformis, pregnancy, lactation, perforation of the eardrum.

Indications
Chronic tonsillitis; otitis externa; chronic periodontitis, purulent surgical diseases; trophic and varicose ulcers; thermal and chemical burns.
Interaction with other drugs
Pharmaceutically compatible with essential oils, solutions of ammonia.
Alkaline or acidic medium, the presence of fat, pus, blood, impaired antiseptic activity.
Overdose
Symptoms phenomenon yodizma (rhinitis, urticaria, angioneurotic edema, excessive salivation).
Treatment: induce vomiting, to gastric lavage, symptomatic therapy.

Pharmacological properties:
Iodine-containing antiseptic. The main active ingredient is the molecular iodine, which has antiseptic properties. When applied to a broad skin surface iodine has resorptive action: actively influences on metabolism, amplifies dissimilation processes involved in the synthesis of thyroxine, possesses proteolytic activity. Polyvinyl spirt- high-molecular compound, the content of which is yodinole inhibits the release of iodine and lengthens its interaction with body tissues; also reduces the irritant effect of iodine on the fabric.
Iodine has a bactericidal effect on both gram-positive and gram-negative flora on (active only flora streptococcal and E. coli) as well as on pathogenic fungi and yeast. More stable flora are Staphylococcus aureus, but long-term use of the drug in 80% of cases there is suppression of staphylococcal flora. Resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Dosing and Administration
Topically, topically (washing, application of gauze, lubrication tonsils).
