Composition
Active substance:
1 sachet contains: simethicone-125, 00 mg.
Excipients:
Sorbitol – 647.90 mg talc – 20.00 mg, malic acid – 6.00 mg of lemon flavoring – 1,00 mg, creamy flavor – 0.10 mg.
Description:
White or almost white granules of irregular shape with a lemon scent.

Contraindications

Indications
Symptoms of excess formation and accumulation of gases in the gastrointestinal tract (including bloating, flatulence in the postoperative period); Symptoms of excessive gas formation, caused by functional dyspepsia; preparation for a diagnostic test of abdominal cavity and the pelvic (ultrasound, X-ray, etc..).

Preparation Espumizan® extra reduces the amount of gases in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT). Active ingredient – Simethicone has surfactant properties and the ability to reduce surface tension at the interface between two media of liquid / gas, thereby merging the gas bubbles and foam collapse in the intestine, whereby the released gas is sucked or derived naturally under the influence of intestinal peristalsis. Use of simethicone in preparation for diagnostic studies of the abdominal cavity prevents the image defects caused by gas bubbles.
Pharmacokinetics:
Simethicone is chemically inert after ingestion is not absorbed from the digestive tract and acts only in its lumen. It does not interact with microorganisms and enzymes, and has no effect on the digestive processes. Displayed intestine unchanged.

Dosing and Administration
Inside. Pour the contents of the bag into the mouth directly into the language. Granules is not required to wash down water (if necessary – can be washed down with water).
The drug is taken before or after a meal, if necessary – at bedtime.
Multiplicity receiving and duration of application depend on the severity of symptoms.
If necessary, extra Espumizan® preparation can take a long time.

Adults and children over 14 years: 1 sachet formulation Espumizan® extra before or after a meal, if necessary, 1 bag can be taken further at bedtime.

In preparation for the radiography and ultrasonography
Apply 1 sachet formulation Espumizan® extra 3 times a day after meal for the day before the study, and 1 package of the drug Espumizan® extra morning of the study.
Espumizan® extra drug is intended for adults and children over 6 years. For children under 6 years of age should apply Espemizan preparations in the form of an emulsion.
