Active substance:
1 capsule contains: lincomycin hydrochloride monohydrate 283.5 mg (calculated as lincomycin 250.0 mg).

Contraindications
• Hypersensitivity to lincomycin, clindamycin, other components of the drug; • deficit sucrase / isomaltase, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption (since the preparation contains sucrose); • pregnancy (except in cases when it is necessary for “life” readings); • severe hepatic and / or renal failure; • breastfeeding; • children up to three years and a body weight less than 20 kg (for a given dosage form).

Indications
Bacterial infections caused by susceptible to lincomycin microorganisms (especially if you are allergic to penicillin): lung abscess, empyema, pleural effusion, otitis media, osteomyelitis (acute and chronic), purulent arthritis, postoperative septic complications, wound infection, skin and soft tissue infections ( pyoderma, furunculosis, cellulitis, erysipelas).

Pharmacological properties:
Antibiotic produced by Streptomyces lincolniensis, has a bacteriostatic effect. Inhibits protein synthesis of bacteria due to the reversible binding to the 50S subunit of the ribosome, violates the formation of peptide bonds. Sensitive to lincomycin: – in vivo: Staphylococcus aureus (penitsillinazoprodutsiruyuschie and producing no strains), Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus pneumoniae; – in vitro: Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus spp. group viridans, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Propionibacterium acnes, Clostridium perfringens, Clostridium tetani. Effective against Staphylococcus spp., Resistant to penicillin, tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, streptomycin, cephalosporins (30% Staphylococcus spp., Resistant to erythromycin have cross-resistance to lincomycin). Dosing and Administration
