Active substance:
1 capsule contains: nifuroxazide – 200.0 mg.
Product form:
Capsules 200 mg. 5, 6, or 10 capsules in blisters of PVC film and aluminum foil printed patent.
Contraindications
• hypersensitivity to nifuroxazide, nitrofuran derivatives or any of the excipients of the formulation; • Children under 3 years of age (for a given dosage form); • pregnancy; • shortage of sucrase / isomaltase, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption.

Acute bacterial diarrhea flowing without deterioration in general condition, fever, intoxication.

Pharmacological properties:
Nifuroxazide – is derived nitrofuran, has antimicrobial action. Highly active against Campylobacter jejuni, Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp, Shigella spp.; Clostridium perfringens, Vibrio cholerae, pathogenic Vibrions and Vibrio parahaemolytique, Staphylococcus spp. Very sensitive to nifuroxazide: Citrobacter spp, Enterobacter cloacae, Proteus indologenes. Resistant to nifuroxazide: Klebsiella spp, Proteus mirabilis, Providencia spp, Pseudomonas spp.. Presumably blocks the activity of dehydrogenases and inhibits the respiratory chain, the tricarboxylic acid cycle and a number of other biochemical processes in the microbial cell. It does not violate the balance of intestinal microflora. In acute bacterial diarrhea restoring intestinal eubioz. Dosing and Administration
Inside. The capsule should be swallowed whole with a little water. Adults: 1 capsule with 200 mg 4 times a day (the interval between doses 6 hours). Children 6 to 18 years: 1 capsule of 200 mg 3-4 times a day (the interval between doses 6-8 hours). Children from 3 to 6: 1 capsule with 200 mg 3 times a day (the interval between doses 8 hours). The duration of treatment 5-7 days, but no more than 7 days. If within the first 3 days of no improvement, you should consult your doctor.
