Composition
Active substance:
100 ml of the preparation contains: anise oil 2.81 g, 10% ammonia solution [equivalent to 1.5 g of ammonia] 15 ml.
Excipients:
Ethyl alcohol (ethanol) 90% to 100 mL.
Description:
Clear, colorless or slightly yellow liquid with a strong ammonia odor and anise.

Pharmacological properties:
The drug is a reflex effect on the bronchi and bronchial cancer by stimulating the motor function of the ciliated epithelium and bronchial tubes, which contributes to the promotion and removal of sputum from the lower and upper respiratory tract. This effect combined with increased secretion of bronchial glands, and some decrease in viscosity of sputum.
