Transparent colorless or light yellow liquid.

Nasal drops 0.05% and 0.1%.

Contraindications

Indications

Interaction with other drugs

Overdose
Symptoms: increased side effects (dose-dependent), a decrease in body temperature, confusion. In case of accidental ingestion of the drug can cause: severe dizziness, sweating, headache, bradycardia, hypertension, respiratory depression, coma and convulsions. Pharmacodynamics:
Xylometazoline refers to a group of local vasoconstrictive agents (decongestants) with alpha2 -adrenomimeticheskim action. Restores patency of the nasal passages, facilitates nasal breathing in rhinitis. At therapeutic concentrations do not irritate the nasal mucosa, does not cause flushing. Dosing and Administration
Intranasally (in each nostril).
A solution concentration of 0.05% drug: children – from 2 to 6 years – 1-2 drops into each nostril 1-2 times a day; should not be used more than 3 times a day.
The solution formulation of 0.1%: adults and children older than 6 years – 2-3 drops in each nostril 2-3 times a day (can be repeated if necessary); should not be used more than 3 times a day.
The drug is administered not more than 7 days.
