Composition
Active substance:
1 ml of solution contains: tetryzoline hydrochloride – 0.50 mg ;.
Excipients:
Boric acid – 12.30 mg of sodium chloride – 2.23 mg Disodium edetate dihydrate – 1.00 mg benzalkonium chloride, 50% solution – 0.20 mg (in terms of benzalkonium chloride – 0.10 mg) Sodium tetraborate – 0.57 mg purified water – 989.78 mg.

Product form:
Eye drops 0.05%.
15 ml of the product in a plastic dropper-bottle with screw cap and polyethylene ribbon – the control of the first opening.
1 bottle together with instructions for use in a cardboard package.
Contraindications
Children under 2 years old.
Drug “Vizin® Classic” should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to the drug, in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma and endothelial-epithelial corneal dystrophy.
CAREFULLY
In patients with severe cardiovascular disease (coronary heart disease, hypertension, arrhythmia, aneurysm), hyperthyroidism, pheochromocytoma, diabetes mellitus, and in patients receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors or other agents that can raise blood pressure.

Indications
Adults and children over 2 years assigned to relieve edema and conjunctival hyperemia (eye redness), resulting in allergy or caused by exposure to chemical and physical factors (smoke, dust, chlorinated water, light, cosmetics, contact lenses).
Children under 6 years of age shall be appointed under the supervision of a physician.

Overdose
When used in accordance with the instructions the risk of overdose is minimal. However, in case of accidental contact with the drug in the gastrointestinal tract (ingestion), the following symptoms of overdose: mydriasis, nausea, cyanosis, fever, convulsions, tachycardia, arrhythmia, cardiac arrest, hypotension, pulmonary edema, inhibition of respiratory function, including apnea (cessation of breathing), depression of the central nervous system, including the development of drowsiness and coma.
The risk of developing symptoms of overdose due to systemic effects of the drug, is high in infants and young children, especially if swallowed.
A specific antidote is not known.
Treatment of overdoses when released into the gastrointestinal tract: activated charcoal, gastric lavage, inhalation of oxygen, antipyretic and anticonvulsants. To reduce arterial pressure is applied 5 mg phentolamine in saline slowly intravenously or 100 mg orally. Patients with low blood pressure pressor agents are contraindicated.

Pharmacodynamics:
Tetryzoline – sympathomimetic drug that stimulates alpha-adrenergic receptors of the sympathetic nervous system, but it does not have or has little effect on the beta-adrenergic receptors. As a sympathomimetic amine, tetryzoline has vasoconstrictor activity and reduces tissue edema.
The effect begins 60 seconds after instillation and lasts 4-8 hours.
Pharmacokinetics:
The local application is practically not absorbed. Detailed pharmacokinetic studies after topical application were not conducted eye drops.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
