Active substance:
1 tablet contains: Sildenafil citrate – 70.2400 mg, based on the sildenafil base – 50.0000 mg.
Product form:
Tablets with a sustained release film-coated with 50 mg and 100 mg. 1, 2, 4 or 10 tablets in blisters of film po- livinilhloridnoy printed and lacquered aluminum foil. 10, 20, 40, 50 or 100 tablets in polyethylene jars for medicines, sealed with screw-caps to the control system of the first opening or “push-turn” from poly- propylene or polyethylene polymer or banks for drugs sealed with lids tautened with controlled opening of the first polyethylene. One jar or 1, 2, 4, 10 or contour of cellular packaging together with instructions for use placed in a cardboard box (pack). Equipment is allowed to 2 or 3 cartons (packs) in gruppo–hand package (transportation) of paperboard for consumer packaging.
Contraindications
– Hypersensitivity to sildenafil or any other component of the drug. Use in patients receiving continuously or intermittently nitric oxide donator, organic nitrates or nitrites in any form as sildenafil enhances the hypotensive effects of nitrates. – Application in patients for whom sexual activity is undesirable (e.g., severe cardiovascular diseases, such as severe congestive heart failure, unstable angina). – arterial hypotension (blood pressure less than 90/50 mm Hg..). – Severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance

Treatment of erectile dysfunction characterized by the inability to achieve or maintain an erection of the penis sufficient for satisfactory sexual intercourse. Sildenafil is effective only if there is sexual stimulation.

Pharmacological properties:
Sildenafil – a powerful selective inhibitor of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) – specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). Mechanism of action. Implementation of the physiological mechanism of erection involves the release of nitric oxide (NO) in the cavernous body during sexual stimulation. This in turn leads to an increase in cGMP level, the subsequent relaxation of the corpus cavernosum smooth muscle tissue and increased blood flow. Sildenafil has no direct relaxing effect on the isolated human cavernous body but enhances the effect of nitric oxide (NO) by inhibiting PDE5, which is responsible for the breakdown of cGMP. Sildenafil is selective for PDE5 in vitro, its activity against PDE5 superior activity against other known PDE isoenzymes: PDE6 – 10 times; FDE1 – more than 80 times; PDE2, PDE4, FDE7-FDE11 – more than 700 times. Sildenafil 4000 times more selective for PDE5 compared to PDE3, which is essential because PDE3 is one of the key enzymes in the regulation of myocardial contractility. Mandatory condition for the effectiveness of sildenafil is sexual stimulation.

Dosing and Administration
Inside. The recommended dose for most adult patients is 50 mg in about 1 hour prior to sexual activity. Given the efficacy and tolerability of the dose may be increased to 100 mg. The maximum recommended dose is 100 mg. Maximum number of prioma- times a day.
