Composition
Active substance:
Phenobarbital – 2.00 g
Etylbromisovalerianate – 2.00g (a-Ethyl bromizovalerianovoy acid).
Excipients:
– up to 100 g
Peppermint oil – 0.14 g
Spanish hop oil – 0.02 g (oregano oil)
Ethanol (ethyl alcohol) 95% – 52.80 g
Purified Water – 43.04 g
Description:
Transparent, colorless liquid with a specific aromatic odor.
Product form:
Drops for oral administration.
For 15 mL, 25 mL and 50 mL in dropper bottles orange glass or glass vials of brown glass screw neck, sealed with stoppers, droppers polymer and polymeric screw-caps or caps with a dropper.

Contraindications

Indications
Valoserdin® administered as a sedative and vasodilator agents for functional disorders of the cardiovascular system, neurosis conditions involving increased irritability, impaired backfilling, tachycardia, excitation condition with severe vegetative symptoms; as an antispasmodic – with cramps.
Interaction with other drugs
When applied simultaneously with Valoserdina® sedatives – strengthening effect. The simultaneous use of neuroleptics and tranquillizers amplifies, and stimulants of the central nervous system – reduces the effect of each component of the drug. Alcohol enhances the effects Valoserdina® and may increase its toxicity. The presence of phenobarbital can induce liver enzymes, and this makes it undesirable simultaneous use with drugs that are metabolized in the liver, since their concentration, and accordingly the efficiency will decrease as a result of rapid metabolism (indirect anticoagulants, antibiotics, sulfonamides, etc.).
Phenobarbital reduces the effect of coumarin derivatives, glucocorticoids, griseofulvin, contraceptives for ingestion.
Valoserdin® may increase the toxicity of methotrexate.
Overdose
Symptoms of mild to moderate intoxication observed drowsiness, dizziness, psychomotor impairment. In severe cases – coma, decreased blood pressure, respiratory failure, tachycardia, circulatory collapse, decreased peripheral reflexes.
