Description:
Hard gelatin capsules №1 cherry red color. Capsule contents – mixture of powders reddish brown, brown and yellowish-white in color.

Capsules. 10 capsules in blister PVC / PVDC – aluminum foil. 3 blisters placed into cardboard pack together with instructions for use.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug, children up to 10 years, hypervitaminosis A and E; deficit sucrase / isomaltase, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption.
Precautions: children’s age from 10 to 15 years.
Indications
Deficiency of vitamin C, vitamin E, and selenium betakarotena food; increased need for vitamins and selenium at: living in regions with adverse environmental conditions, such as large cities and large industrial centers; increased physical and mental stress; nicotine addiction; exposure to elevated active solar irradiation.
Interaction with other drugs
No data on drug interactions of the drug with other drugs.
Overdose
Large doses (more than 15 capsules per day) can cause nausea, and discoloration of the skin and nails.
Acceptance of the drug in this case should be discontinued.
Treatment: symptomatic.

Pharmacodynamics:
TRIOVIT® capsules contain the antioxidant vitamins C (ascorbic acid), E (alpha-tocopherol acetate), betakaroten (provitamin A) and trace element selenium. Vitamin C, vitamin E and betakaroten protect against free radical damage cells and tissues.
Betakaroten – precursor (pro-vitamin) of vitamin A. As a biological antioxidant, it protects the cell membrane lipids, and other substances from oxidation by free radicals. The chain reaction of free radicals produced active form of singlet oxygen in addition to other products, and betakaroten translates it into the more stable triplet form.
Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant in a biological cells lipophilic medium and protects the lipids of cell membranes and other substances (enzymes, DNA) by oxidation by free radicals. This forms a more stable tokoferilny radical which is then converted back into tocopherol under the action of ascorbic acid or enzymes.
Vitamin Sdeystvuet as a biological antioxidant cells in a hydrophilic environment. It neutralizes free radicals. This produces a more stable ascorbic radicals, which are then various ways and by means of glutathione peroxidase converted back to ascorbic acid, dihydroascorbic acid.
