Contraindications

Indications
Treatment and prevention of iron deficiency anemia in adults and children from 3 months of age due to various reasons: – bleeding; – increased requirement for iron (pregnancy); – insufficient supply of iron from food, or violation of its suction.
Interaction with other drugs
It reduces the absorption of bisphosphonates, ciprofloxacin, tetracycline. The salts, oxides and hydroxides of magnesium, aluminum and calcium salts violate iron absorption (the interval between doses – not less than 2 hours).
Can not be combined with the use of other iron preparations, including for parenteral administration.
Overdose
Symptoms: fatigue, pyrexia, nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, epigastric pain. There are cases of necrosis of the gastrointestinal tract, and the shock of the walls.

Dosing and Administration
