Composition
Active substance:
In 1 ml of solution contains: Active substance: Xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.5 mg (0.05%) or 1.0 mg (0.1%); amount of active ingredient in one dose to 0.05% – 0.035 mg Xylometazoline hydrochloride; to 0.1% – 0.14 mg Xylometazoline gidrohlo-chloride.
Excipients:
Benzalkonium chloride, 70% sorbitol, sodium chloride, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium edetate, purified water.
Description:
Transparent colorless solution odorless or with a faint characteristic odor.
Product form:
Cprey nasal dosage 0.05% and 0.1%.
10 ml of the drug in vial hydrolytic brown glass (Class III) with a metering device and a polyethylene screw cap.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the preparation, simultaneous reception of monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors or other drugs that may cause increased blood pressure; hypertension, tachycardia expressed arteriosclerosis, glaucoma, atrophic rhinitis, surgical interventions in the meninges (history), children (under 6 years – to 0.1% dosage, aged 2 – Dosing 0.05%).

Interaction with other drugs
The simultaneous use of MAO-inhibitors or tranylcypromine tricyclic antidepressants can lead to increased blood pressure due to cardiovascular effects of these substances.
Overdose

Dosing and Administration
Children aged 2-6 years
