Composition
Active substance:
100 ml of the preparation contains: licorice extract thick 20.7 g, anise seed oil, 0.34 g, 25% concentrated ammonia solution [equivalent to 0.345 g of ammonia] 1, 38 g.
Excipients:
Ethanol (ethyl alcohol) 20.41 ml of 90%, purified water to 100 ml.
Description:
a brown liquid with an odor of ammonia and anise oil. It allowed during storage precipitation.
Product form:
Elixir. 25 ml amber glass vials. 25 ml vials of amber glass dropper. 1 vial, bottle, dropper, together with instructions for use placed in a pile of cardboard. 1 bottle, dropper bottle is placed in a pack, on which a full text of the instructions for use.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug, asthma, gastritis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer during the exacerbation, pregnancy, breastfeeding.

Indications
As expectorant in infectious inflammatory respiratory diseases, accompanied by cough with expectoration trudnootdelyaemoy (including tracheitis, tracheobronchitis, bronchitis).
Interaction with other drugs
If necessary, can be employed in combination with antibiotics and other drugs. Should not be used concurrently with antitussive drugs, as this makes it difficult expectoration attenuated sputum.
Overdose
With prolonged use exceeding these dosages are possible hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, the appearance of peripheral edema due to violations of water-salt exchange.
Treatment: symptomatic.

– thick licorice extract has anti-inflammatory and expectorant properties that are associated with the content in the roots glycyrrhizin stimulates mucociliary activity in the trachea and bronchi as well as reinforcing the secretory function of mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract;
– anise seed oil has a bronchodilatory effect due to the oil content of anethole, which contributes to the reflex stimulation of breathing, increased activity ciliated epithelium of the airways and increased secretion of the mucous membranes of the larynx, trachea and bronchus;
– ammonia has an irritating effect, which leads to the stimulation of sensory nerve endings upper airway reflexes and respiratory drive center.
