Composition
Active substance:
100 ml of the preparation contains: sodium picosulfate in terms of anhydrous – 750 mg.
Excipients:
Sorbitol (Sorbitol) – 36.0 g of propylene glycol – 19.0 g Water for injection – up to 100 ml.
Product form:
Drops for oral administration of 7.5 mg / ml. 15 ml in flakonah- dark glass. 10 ml in polyethylene bottles with droppers stoppers and screw caps (Dropper bottle). Each vial with instructions for use placed in a pile of cardboard.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, ileus, strangulated hernia, acute inflammatory diseases of the abdominal cavity. Peritonitis, abdominal pain (of unknown origin), severe dehydration, bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract, metrorrhagia, cystitis, spastic constipation, children’s age (up to 4 years), pregnancy (I term).

Indications
Atonic constipation. Regulation of the chair (hemorrhoids, proctitis, anal fissures). Preparation for surgery, instrumental and radiological studies.
Interaction with other drugs
Steroids, diuretics increase the risk of electrolyte abnormalities. Broad-spectrum antibiotics reduced laxative effect. Possible increased sensitivity to cardiac glycosides.
Overdose
Symptoms: See “Side effects”.. In addition, in chronic overdose may develop mucosa of colon ischemia, secondary hyperaldosteronism, urolithiasis, renal tubular injury.
