Pharmacodynamics:
Preparation of silver (silver proteinate contains 7.5-8.5% silver). Astringent, antiseptic and protivovospalitelnoedeystvie. Dissociates to form silver ions, which bind to bacterial DNA and inhibit their proliferation in the mucous membranes in a topical application. The mechanism of action is based on silver proteinate that silver ions are precipitated proteins and form a protective film on the damaged mucosa, which helps decrease the sensitivity of nerve endings and blood vessel narrowing (this leads to the reduction of edema), which in turn causes inhibition of inflammatory reactions. Silver ions also inhibit the multiplication of various germs. Active against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms: B. cereus, C. albicans,
E. coli, P. aeruginosa, S. aureus, A. niger, S. Abony and others.
Pharmacokinetics:
When applied topically practically not absorbed.

Lung irritation, burning, itching, allergic reactions (urticaria, atopic dermatitis, angioneurotic edema, anaphylactic shock).
