Active substance:
100 g of ointment contains: Salicylic Acid – 2 g, 5 g or 10 g.
Excipients:
Petrolatum to 100 g
Description:
Homogeneous ointment from white to light yellow in color.
Product form:
Ointment for external application of 2%, 5%, 10%. 25 g, 40 g of orange glass jars.
30 g, 40 g aluminum tubes.

Hypersensitivity to salicylic acid, children, renal failure, pregnancy and lactation.

Indications
Inflammatory and infectious skin lesions: burns, wounds, psoriasis, oily seborrhea, eczema, scaly skin disease, dyskeratosis, ichthyosis.
Interaction with other drugs
Salicylic acid can increase skin permeability for other medicaments for topical use and thereby enhance their absorption. Sucked salicylic acid can increase the side effects of methotrexate and oral hypoglycemic drugs, sulfonylurea derivatives.

Dosing and Administration
Outwardly. The ointment applied to the affected areas of the skin with a thin layer of 1-2 times a day. In the treatment of burns and wounds after applying the ointment the skin surface is closed sterile cloth or impose a sterile bandage soaked with ointment (purified before applying the surface from necrotic tissues reveal bubbles, washed with antiseptic solution).
