Composition
Active substance:
1 mL contains: Xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.5 mg or 1 mg.
Excipients:
Benzalkonium chloride 0.1 mg / 0.1 mg sodium chloride 5.0 mg / 5.0 mg disodium edetate (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt [Trilon B]) – 0.5 mg / 0.5 mg Sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate (monobasic sodium phosphate dihydrate) -6.0 mg / 6.0 mg, sodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate (sodium phosphate dibasic dvenadtsativodny) -3.5 mg / 3.5 mg eucalyptus oil prutovidnogo leaves (eucalyptus oil) -0.85 mg / 0.85 mg water for injection to 1 ml.
Product form:

Contraindications
Arterial hypertension; tachycardia; pronounced atherosclerosis; glaucoma (closure); atrophic rhinitis; hyperthyroidism; surgical intervention on meninges (in history); children up to six years (0.1% solution); Children under 2 years (0.05% solution); Hypersensitivity to xylometazoline; hypersensitivity to the drug (including from eucalyptus oil).
Not suitable for therapy monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and tricyclic antidepressants, as well as other drugs that increase blood pressure.

Indications

Interaction with other drugs
The drug is contraindicated in patients receiving MAO inhibitors, including the period of 14 days after their withdrawal. The simultaneous use of tri- or tetracyclic antidepressants and adrenomimeticheskih drugs could increase the sympathomimetic effect of xylometazoline, so such a combination is not recommended.
Overdose
Symptoms: increased side effects (dose-dependent) decrease in body temperature and drowsiness. In case of accidental ingestion of the drug can cause: severe dizziness, sweating, headache, bradycardia, hypertension, respiratory depression, coma and convulsions. Dosing and Administration
