Composition
Active substance:
Thyme extract liquid – 12%, potassium bromide – 1%;
Excipients:

Product form:
Syrup. 100 g of the drug in amber glass vials, sealed with plastic stoppers and screw caps. 100 g in amber glass bottles with rubber stoppers “Blank” and screw caps or aluminum caps with gaskets. Each vial or bottle, together with instructions for use placed in a pile of cardboard. Allowed packing bottles without packs together with an equal number of instructions in the use multipacks.
Contraindications
Increased sensitivity to the drug, liver disease, alcoholism, traumatic brain injury, cerebral diseases, epilepsy, chronic heart failure (decompensated), pregnancy, lactation, infancy (up to 3 years). Precautions: diabetes mellitus; children older than 3 years (due to the presence of ethanol in the formulation).

10 mg + 120 mg / ml
Indications
As expectorant in the treatment of acute respiratory diseases; tracheitis, bronchitis and whooping cough.
Interaction with other drugs
The drug should not be used simultaneously with antitussive drugs, since it complicates the liquefied sputum expectoration
Overdose
In case of overdose possible nausea drug. Treatment: symptomatic.

Combined preparation. Herb thyme extract has expectorant action, increases the amount of discharge of secretory mucosal upper airways promotes liquefaction of sputum and accelerating its evacuation. Potassium bromide reduces the excitability of the central nervous system.

The preparation comprises 8-11% ethanol. absolute ethanol content is: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) – up to 0.43 g, dissolved in 1 dessert to 0.87 g, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) – up to 1.3 g in the maximum daily dose of the drug adult – 3 tablespoons (45 ml) – contains up to 3.9 g of absolute alcohol. During the period of treatment must be careful when driving and occupation of other potentially hazardous activities that require high concentration and psychomotor speed reactions.
Note for diabetics: sucrose content of 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) of the drug corresponding to about 0.22 HEH in I dessert spoon (10 ml) – XE about 0.44; 1 tablespoon – about 0.66 XE.

Dosing and Administration
The drug is taken by mouth, after food (due to the possibility of loss of appetite). Adults 1 tablespoon three times daily;
Children from 3 to 6 years – ‘/ r-1 teaspoon 3 times a day;
children from 6 to 12 years old – 1-2 teaspoons 3 times a day;
children over 12 years – 1 dessert spoon 3 times a day.
