Composition
Active substance:
1 tablet contains: pantoprazole sodium sesquihydrate – 45.1 mg, equivalent pantoprazole – 40 mg.
Excipients:
Crospovidone, calcium stearate, mannitol, povidone, anhydrous sodium carbonate; sodium hydroxide, simetikonovaya emulsion (30%), a colorant Opadry YS-1R-7006 Clear (hypromellose 5sP, macrogol 400, macrogol 6000), dye Opadry akrilez yellow 93O92052 (methacrylic acid copolymer type C, talc, titanium dioxide, triethyl citrate, silicon dioxide colloidal, sodium hydrogen carbonate, yellow iron oxide, sodium lauryl sulfate).
Description:
Round biconvex tablets, enteric coated from light yellow to yellow.
Product form:
The tablets, enteric-coated tablets, 40 mg. 10 tablets in the blister of aluminum / aluminum foil; 1 or 2 of the blister (10 or 20 tablets) was placed in a cardboard box, together with instructions for use.
Contraindications
Increased sensitivity to the drug, dyspepsia neurotic genesis, malignant disease of the gastrointestinal tract, severe hepatic insufficiency.

Indications
Gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer (exacerbation), including those associated with Helicobacter pylori,
erosive gastritis,

Interaction with other drugs
Pantoprazole reduces the effect of drugs, suction at acidic pH (including – ketoconazole).
No effect on the pharmacokinetic parameters of the drugs metabolized with participation of cytochrome P450 enzyme system, such as phenazepam, diazepam, digoxin, theophylline, carbamazepine, diclofenac, naproxen, piroxicam, phenytoin, warfarin, nifedipine, metoprolol, ethanol. It does not affect the efficacy of hormonal contraceptives.
Overdose
Symptoms of overdose of pantoprazole is not described.

Pharmacological group:
Decreasing the secretion of the glands of the stomach – a proton pump inhibitor.
Pharmacological properties:
The inhibitor of proton pump (H + / K + -ATPase). Blocks final stage of gastric acid secretion, reducing both basal and stimulated secretion regardless of the nature of the stimulus. In duodenal ulcer associated c Helicobacter pylori, decrease gastric secretion increases the sensitivity of microorganisms to antibiotics. No effect on the motility of the gastrointestinal tract. Secretory activity normalized in 3-4 days after admission.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding

Dosing and Administration
It is used inside. The tablet is not chewed, drink a small amount of liquid. In gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, gastroesophageal reflux disease daily dose is 40 mg once daily, may increase the dose to 80 mg per day. The duration of treatment with duodenal ulcer – 14 days (sometimes the drug is used additionally for another 2 weeks), gastric ulcer and gastroesophageal reflux disease – 4 weeks (in some cases, the drug is used as early as 4 weeks).
In the combination therapy of H. pylori eradication in patients with peptic ulcer or duodenal ulcer drug is given at 40 mg 2 times a day (before breakfast and before dinner or during meal time) in combination with amoxicillin, azithromycin, clarithromycin; metronidazole. The duration of the course of eradication therapy – 7 days (maximum – 2 weeks).
