Active substance:
100 g of ointment contains: Sodium diclofenac 2.0 g
Benzyl medical, polysorbate (Tween 80), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (Nipagin), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (Nipasol), carbomer, triethanolamine (trolamine), purified water.
Homogeneous ointment white or white with grayish or kremovatam color with weak specific smell.
Product form:
Ointment for external application of 2% to 30 g or 50 g aluminum tubes. Each tube together with instructions for use placed in a pile of cardboard.
Hypersensitivity to diclofenac or to other components of prepa-rata, aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, bronchial asthma, urticaria or acute rhinitis, SPRO-votsirovannye taking aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, pregnancy (III trimester), Lac-tation , children’s age (up to 6 years), violation of the integrity of skin.
Hepatic porphyria (exacerbation), erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, severe liver and kidney disease, chronic heart failure, blood coagulation disorders (including hemophilia, prolonged bleeding, bleeding tendency), advanced age, pregnancy I and II trimester, children up to 12 years.
Pain and swelling associated with diseases of the muscles and joints (rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, radiculitis, lumbago, sciatica).
Rheumatic soft tissue diseases (tendonitis, bursitis, periarticular tissue damage); muscular pain of rheumatic and rheumatic origin.
Traumatic damage to soft tissues (tensile strain, and bruises).
Interaction with other drugs
Ortofen® may potentiate preparations inducing photosensitization. Clinically significant interactions are not described with other drugs.
Very low systemic absorption of the active components of the preparation for external application makes it virtually impossible to overdose.

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
Pharmacological properties:
Active ingredient diclofenac – a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug having analgesic and expressed protivovospali–inflammatory properties. Non-selectively inhibiting cyclooxygenase type 1 and 2, it gives the arachidonic acid metabolism and prostaglandin synthesis is schihsya-main link in the development of an inflammation.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

Dosing and Administration
