pharmachologic effect
Pharmacological properties:
Oflomelid® combined preparation has antimicrobial, antiinflammatory, local anesthetic, regenerating action. Active substances are ofloxacin, methyluracil and lidocaine.
Ofloksatsin- antimicrobial broad-spectrum of fluoroquinolones. It has a bactericidal effect due to blockade DNKgirazy in bacterial cells. DNKgiraza necessary for replication, transcription, repair and recombination of bacterial DNA. Its inhibition leads to an unwinding of the bacterial DNA and destabilization and consequently microbial cell death. Microorganisms highly sensitive to ofloxacin (MIC 1 mg / l): Acinetobacter baumannii, most strains of Enterococcus spp, Listeria monocytogenes, Nocardia spp, (including Nocardia asteroids), methicillin-resistant strains of Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus spp.. (Staphylococci methiR), Treponema pallidum.
Methyluracilum -stimulyator tissue repair. It has anabolic activity. It accelerates the cellular regeneration processes in the wound, accelerating the growth and maturation of the granulation tissue and epithelialization.
Lidocaine has local anesthetic action due to blockade of Na + channels, which prevents the generation of pulses in the terminations of sensory neurons and conduction of impulses along nerve fibers. When applied topically dilates blood vessels, it has no local irritating action.
A water soluble (hydrophilic) and hyperosmolar ointment base is a mixture of polyethylene oxide (polyethylene glycol) of molecular weight 400 and 1500 (PEO400 and PEO1500 or PEG400 and PEG1500) providing dehydrating (disposable absorbent) and the osmotic effect on the fabric, which is 20 times superior to the force of action 10 % sodium chloride solution and continued until 1820 hours.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Contraindicated.
Conditions of supply of pharmacies
On prescription.
side effects
Allergic reactions.
Storage conditions
In the dark place at a temperature of from 15 to 25 C. Keep out of reach of children.
Dosing and Administration
Outwardly, 1 times a day for 1 to 2 weeks.
After standard treatment of wounds and burns ointment is applied directly on the wound surface with a thin layer (after which impose a sterile gauze bandage) or to a gauze bandage with subsequent application to the lesion. Tampons impregnated with an ointment loosely filled cavity purulent wounds after the surgical treatment and gauze turundy ointment is administered in tracts.
In the treatment of festering wounds the ointment is applied 1 time a day in the treatment of burns – daily or 2-3 times per week depending on the quantity of purulent discharge.
The maximum daily dose should not exceed 100 g
The duration of treatment depends on the dynamics of the wound cleansing from purulent exudate and timing relief of the inflammatory process.
