Product form:
Film-coated tablets.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of hypervitaminosis A and D.
Children up to age 6 years.
The drug should not be taken in patients with malabsorption syndrome glucose / galactose deficiency or lactose, isomaltose and sucrose congenital fructose intolerance.
Indications
Increased need for vitamins: with increased physical and / or mental stress; during intense exercise; with irregular and unbalanced diet, including at the diet, during the seasonal shortage of fresh vegetables and fruits, as well as on the background of reduced appetite in the elderly, people suffering from nicotine and alcohol addiction; during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Interaction with other drugs
Not recommended simultaneous reception with other multivitamin complexes in order to avoid overdose.
Overdose
Prolonged receiving very high doses may cause hypervitaminosis of vitamins A and D, but the possibility of overdose is minimum Makrovit® tablets.

Multivitamin agent.
Pharmacological properties:
Makrovit® contains complex vitamins that are involved in many biochemical processes in the body. B vitamins (B1, B2, B6, pantothenic acid and niacinamide) involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins, and erythrocyte metabolism of neurotransmitter synthesis. Vitamin A is essential for the biosynthesis of the photosensitive retinal pigment. Vitamin D regulates the absorption of calcium.
Vitamin C facilitates the absorption of iron and is involved in many redox processes in the body.
Vitamin E is a physiological antioxidant, protecting cell membranes from damage and maintains their functional activity.

side effects
Allergic reactions. Prolonged use of high doses can cause hypervitaminosis A and D.
High doses of Glycerol can cause headache, disorders of the gastrointestinal tract (diarrhea).

Diabetics – Makrovit® can take the drug, but it should be borne in mind that 1 coated tablet contains: 0.61 g of sucrose and 0.15 g of glucose, and the daily dose: 0.61 g – 1.8 g of sucrose, and 0.15 g -0.45 g glucose.
Makrovit® E 110 contains an azo dye, which can cause hypersensitivity reaction with an asthmatic component. Similar reactions were observed more frequently in patients with hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid.
Perhaps staining of urine in yellow – absolutely harmless and due to the presence in the preparation of riboflavin.
Glycerol can cause headache, as well as gastro-intestinal dyspepsia. Makrovit includes a polyol, which in some cases may cause diarrhea. The formulation contains 187 mg of lactose, 614 mg of sucrose, 150 mg of glucose and 131 mg of sorbitol, and the drug is not recommended for children with congenital glucose intolerance and fructose malabsorption syndromes glucose / galactose and sucrose deficit / isomaltose.

Dosing and Administration
Inside, after eating; kept in the mouth until complete dissolution or chewed.
Children aged 6 to 10 years: 1 coated tablet, 1 or 2 times a day after meals. Adults and children over the age of 10 years: 1 coated tablet 2 – 3 times a day after meals.
Course dosing of 20 – 30 days. A second course on doctor’s advice.
