Composition
Active substance:
1 suppository contains: alpha-arginyl-lysyl-aspartyl-valyl-tyrosyl-arginine diacetate (relative to anhydrous and free from acetic acid substance) 90 mg.
Excipients:
5 mg Glycine, polysorbate 80 (Tween 80) 1% by weight of the suppository, 25 mg of purified water, hard fat suppository mass to produce from 1.2 to 1.5 g
Description:
Homogeneous suppositories from white to white with a yellowish shade, torpedo-shaped. Allowed a faint odor.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, pregnancy complicated by Rh disease, children under 2 years.

Indications
Is used in adults and children older than two years for the prevention and treatment of immune deficiency and toxic conditions, chronic inflammatory diseases of different etiologies. In adults, as an adjuvant for vaccination against bacterial and viral infections.
Interaction with other drugs
Imunofan action does not depend on PGE2 production and use of the drug optionally in combination with anti-inflammatory (steroidal and nonsteroidal) drugs.

Pharmacological properties:
The drug has immunoregulatory, detoxification, hepatoprotective action and causes inactivation of free radical and peroxy compounds. Pharmacological action is based on three main effects: correction of the immune system, restore the balance of oxidation reactions of the organism antioxidant and inhibition of multiple drug resistance mediated transmembrane transport proteins cell pump. Effect of the drug begins to develop for 2 – 3 hours (fast phase) and lasts up to 4 months (medium and slow phase). In children with malignant diseases of the hematopoietic and lymphoid tissues: 1 times a day, every day, a course of treatment 10-20 suppositories. Use of the drug should be performed during the entire course of chemotherapy and radiation therapy after completion of the course for the prevention of toxicity.
In the treatment of children with pappilomatozom larynx and oropharynx: 1 times a day, every day, a course of treatment of 10 suppositories.
Opportunistic infections (cytomegalovirus, and herpes infection, toxoplasmosis, chlamydia, pneumocystis, cryptosporidiosis): 1 times a day, every day, a course of treatment 15 – 20 of suppositories.
In the treatment of HIV infection: 1 times a day, every day, a course of treatment 15 – 20 of suppositories. If necessary, repeat courses 2-4 weeks.
In chronic viral hepatitis and chronic brucellosis: 1 times a day, every day, a course of treatment 15 – 20 suppositories to prevent recurrence should be repeated courses after 2 – 3 months.
