200 mg
Indications
Tablets Ibuprofen used for the symptomatic, including tension headache and migraine, joint, muscle pain, back pain, back pain, sciatica, pain in damaged ligament, dental pain, painful menstruation, febrile conditions, with “cold” diseases, influenza, with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis.
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs used for the symptomatic therapy to reduce pain and inflammation at the time of use, do not affect the progression of the disease.
Interaction with other drugs
At therapeutic doses, ibuprofen does not come into significant interactions with commonly used drugs. Inductors microsomal oxidation enzymes in the liver (phenytoin, ethanol, barbiturates, flumetsinol, rifampicin, phenylbutazone, tricyclic antidepressants) increase the production of hydroxylated active metabolites, increasing the risk of severe intoxication. Inhibitors of microsomal oxidation – reduce the risk of hepatotoxicity. Reduces hypotensive activity vasodilator and natriuretic effect of furosemide and hydrochlorothiazide. Reduces the efficiency of uricosuric drugs. It enhances the effect of anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, fibrinolytic agents (which increases the risk of bleeding). Enhances mineralokortikosteroidov side effects, glucocorticoids (increased risk of gastrointestinal bleeding), estrogens, ethanol; enhances hypoglycemic effect of sulfonylurea derivatives. Antacids colestyramine and reduce the absorption of ibuprofen. Increases the blood concentration of digoxin, drugs lithium and methotrexate. Simultaneous administration of other NSAIDs increases the incidence of side effects. Caffeine increases the analgesic (analgesic) effect. When concomitant administration of ibuprofen reduces inflammatory and antiplatelet effect of acetylsalicylic acid (may increase the incidence of acute coronary insufficiency in patients receiving antiplatelet agents as low-dose acetylsalicylic acid, after you start taking ibuprofen). Cefamandole, cefoperazone, cefotetan, valproic acid, plicamycin increased incidence of hypoprothrombinemia while the appointment. Myelotoxic drugs increase the expression gematotoksichnosti drug. Cyclosporine and preparations of gold enhance the effect of ibuprofen on prostaglandin synthesis in the kidneys, which is manifested by increased nephrotoxicity. Ibuprofen increases the plasma concentration of cyclosporine and the likelihood of its hepatotoxic effects. Drugs that block tubular secretion, reduce excretion and increase the plasma concentration of ibuprofen.
Overdose
Do not exceed the indicated dose. If you exceed the dose, call your doctor or the nearest medical facility. Bring a product package.
Symptoms: abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, lethargy, sleepiness, depression, headache, tinnitus, metabolic acidosis, coma, acute renal failure, decreased blood pressure, bradycardia, tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, respiratory arrest.
Treatment: gastric lavage (only one hour after administration), activated carbon, alkaline water, diuresis, symptomatic therapy (correction of acid-base balance, blood pressure).
pharmachologic effect
Pharmacodynamics:
It has anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic effect. Inhibits inflammatory factors reduces platelet aggregation. Inhibits cyclooxygenase type 1 and 2, gives the metabolism of arachidonic acid, reduces the amount of prostaglandins in healthy tissue and in inflammation inhibits exudative and the proliferative phases of inflammation. Reduces sensitivity to pain in inflammation. Causes a weakening or disappearance of pain, including pain in the joint at rest and in motion, a decrease of morning stiffness and joint swelling, increases range of motion. Antipyretic effect caused by decrease of excitability thermoregulatory centers diencephalon.
Pharmacokinetics:
Ibuprofen is rapidly and almost completely absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, its maximal plasma concentration reached in 1-2 hours after ingestion, in the synovial fluid – after 3 hours, binds to plasma proteins to 99%. Slowly into the joint cavity, it is retained in the synovial tissue, creating in it a higher concentration than in plasma. Ibuprofen Metabolism occurs predominantly in the liver. The half-life (T1 / 2) in plasma is about 2-3 hours. Excreted by the kidneys as metabolites (unchanged output is not more than 1%), to a lesser extent – in the bile. Ibuprofen is completely eliminated within 24 hours.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Is contraindicated in pregnancy (III trimester).
