Description:
Medical device Hilo-KOMOD® ( “Hilo” – lat hyaluronic acidum -. Hyaluronic acid) is a sterile isotonic aqueous 0.1% sodium hyaluronate solution containing no preservatives in the original container (system “Chest”).
Part of the Hilo-KOMOD® hyaluronic acid (as sodium salt) is a natural substance. Sodium hyaluronate is a physiological compound polysaccharide contained in eye tissues, and other tissues and fluids of the human body. Particular physicochemical properties of sodium hyaluronate molecules is their pronounced ability to bind water molecules. The aqueous sodium hyaluronate solution (Hilo-KOMOD®) possesses the desired viscosity, and high adhesive properties relative to the front surface of the eye (cornea), whereby Hilo-KOMOD® forms on the surface of the cornea uniform, continuing for a long time prerogovichnuyu tear film, which not washed off during blinking and does not cause a decrease in visual acuity. Thus permanently protected from eye dryness and irritation that often occur in contact with the environment, as well as when wearing contact lenses.

Contraindications

Indications

For moistening the front surface of the eye after ophthalmic surgery, as well as damages and injuries of the cornea
To eliminate discomfort while wearing hard or soft contact lenses.
Interaction with other drugs
In the case of joint use with the ophthalmic drug is recommended to follow a pause of at least 30 minutes between Hilo-KOMOD® instillation solution and the application of eye drops. Eye ointment should always be applied after instillation of Hilo-KOMOD® solution.

Storage conditions

After opening Hilo-KOMOD® solution container must be used within 12 weeks.

Dosing and Administration

METHOD OF USE AND RECOMMENDATIONS while wearing contact lenses
