A combined preparation for the symptomatic treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the throat and mouth. The preparation includes an antimicrobial agent gramicidin C and antiseptic – cetylpyridinium chloride. The mechanism of action of gramicidin C is associated with increased permeability of the cytoplasmic membrane of a microbial cell that gives its resistance and causes death. Gramicidin C antibacterial (bactericidal) activity against a broad spectrum of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. Cetylpyridinium chloride relates to antiseptic agents, inhibits growth and reproduction of oral pathogens infectious diseases. The preparation has an antimicrobial effect, reduces inflammation, softens unpleasant sensation in the throat, facilitates the swallowing when resorption causes hypersalivation, which contributes to the mechanical cleansing of the oral cavity and pharynx from microorganisms.

Dosing and Administration
