Active substance:
1 tablet contains: gramicidin C dihydrochloride – 3.20 mg (in terms of gramicidin S – 3.00 mg), cetyl pyridinium chloride monohydrate – 1.05 mg (in terms of cetylpyridinium chloride 1.00 mg).

White round biconvex tablets with an inscription on one side of the GR.
Product form:
Lozenges.
6 or 9 tablets in blisters of PVC or polyvinyl chloride film / polyvinylidene chloride and aluminum foil printed patent. 2, 3 or 4 blisters 6 tablets or blisters 2 to 9 tablets together with instructions for use placed in a pile of cardboard.

Grammidin® neo enhances the effects of other antibacterial agents of local and systemic effects.

Pharmacodynamics:
A combined preparation for the treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the throat and mouth. The preparation includes an antimicrobial agent gramicidin C and antiseptic – cetylpyridinium chloride.
The mechanism of action of gramicidin C is associated with increased permeability of the cytoplasmic membrane of a microbial cell that gives its resistance and causes destruction of cells.
Gramicidin C has a marked antimicrobial activity against pathogens of the mouth and throat infections. Cetylpyridinium chloride relates to antiseptic agents. Inhibits the growth and multiplication of pathogens of oral infectious diseases.
The drug reduces inflammation, has antimicrobial action, alleviates discomfort in the throat, facilitates the swallowing when resorption causes hypersalivation, which contributes to the mechanical cleansing of the oral cavity and pharynx from microorganisms.
Pharmacokinetics:
The drug has a local effect and practically not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, which determines the almost complete absence of systemic effects.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Do not use the drug during pregnancy (I) trimester. Breastfeeding at the time of receiving the drug should be discontinued.

Dosing and Administration
It applies after a meal by sucking mouth without chewing. Immediately after application of the preparation should refrain from eating and drinks for 1-2 hours.
Dosage for adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet 3-4 times a day.
The dosage for children aged 4 to 12 years: 1 tablet 1 to 2 times a day.
