Composition
Active substance:
1 g of ointment contains hydrocortisone acetate – 10.0 mg, oxytetracycline hydrochloride – 30.0 mg ;.
Product form:
Ointment for local and external use.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, lupus, skin tumors, precancerous lesions, athlete’s foot, viral skin diseases (herpes, chickenpox); pregnancy, lactation (when applied to extensive lesions).
Indications
Neonatal dermatitis (cystic and exfoliative) infected intertrigo, folliculitis, furunculosis, carbuncle, impetigo, erysipelas; infected eczema and wounds, erosion; urticaria of the newborn; simple and allergic dermatitis, seborrhea; “Solar” erythematous rash; erythema multiforme; insect bites; purulent diseases and allergic external auditory meatus; varicose leg ulcers, burns, frostbite.

Pharmacological properties:
Combined preparation inhibits the development of inflammatory reactions of the skin, especially of allergic origin, complicated by bacterial infection, resulting in the total effect of the components included in the formulation. Oxytetracycline – an antibiotic of the tetracycline group, has a bacteriostatic effect. Active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, Rickettsia spp., Treponema spp., Chlamydia spp., Mycoplasma spp. Hydrocortisone – glucocorticosteroid, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-exudative and antipruritic effects. Inhibits phagocytosis; reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes by inhibiting the activity of phospholipase A2 and reduce the release of arachidonic acid from phospholipids of cell membranes. Inhibits release of interleukins and other cytokines that cause inflammation.; inhibits the release of histamine and the emergence of local allergic reactions. Reduces protein synthesis and deposition of collagen in the skin, prevents the development of connective tissue, weakens proliferative processes.
