Composition
Active substance:
100 ml of the preparation contains: ivy leaf extract (2.2-2.9: 1) – 0.8000 g
Excipients:
Macrogol glitserilgidroksistearat – 0.5000 g, anise oil stellate fruit – 0.0150 g, hydroxyethylcellulose – 0.1500 g, 70% of sorbitol solution (non-crystallizable) – 50.0000 g, propylene glycol – 13.8770 g glycerol – 10.0000 g, purified water – 39.9605 g
Description:
Thickish liquid from yellow to yellow-brown color peculiar smell; possible clouding and precipitation.
Product form:
Syrup. 100 ml amber glass vials stoppered with a jet of polyethylene. Each vial is capped with a ring for controlling the first opening and, together with instructions for use and a measuring spoon of polypropylene with graduations placed in a cardboard box.
Contraindications
Increased sensitivity to the drug. Gedeliks® Syrup should not be taken with hereditary fructose intolerance, failure argininsuktsinat synthetase.
Dosage
8 mg / ml
Indications
As expectorant for infectious and inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract and bronchial cough accompanied with hard discharged sputum.
Interaction with other drugs
The drug should not be used simultaneously with antitussive drugs, since it complicates the liquefied sputum expectoration.
Overdose
Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gastroenteritis.
Treatment: removal of the drug, symptomatic therapy.

Pharmacological properties:
The drug of vegetable origin, has expectorant, mucolytic and spasmolytic effect caused by the presence of saponins.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Gedeliks® syrup should not be used during pregnancy and lactation (due to the lack of clinical data).

special instructions
In the absence of curative effect on patients receiving the drug for 4-5 days or worsening condition of the patient (the appearance of asthmatic attacks, purulent sputum, fever) should seek immediate medical attention. Instructions for diabetics: Since Gedeliks® does not contain sugar, it may be used diabetics. 1 spoonful (5 ml) contains 1.75 g of sorbitol (corresponding to 0.44 g fructose), which corresponds to 0.15 XE. Use of the drug has no effect on the ability to drive vehicles and occupation of other potentially hazardous activities that require high concentration and psychomotor speed reactions.

Dosing and Administration
If the doctor has not appointed another dosage Gedeliks® be taken inside (after eating)
Adults and children over 10 years, 3 times a day for 5 ml
Children aged 4-10 years, 4 times a day by 2.5 ml
Children 1-4 years 3 times a day 2.5 ml
Children from 0-1 years, 1 times a day, 2.5 ml
The package contains the measuring spoon. 1 corresponds to the measuring spoon 5 ml. Adults and adolescents are encouraged to take Gedeliks® undiluted. Infants and small children is recommended to give Gedeliks® diluted in a little water. The duration of the drug depends on the severity of the disease, but should be at least 7 days. After the disappearance of symptoms is recommended to continue the treatment drug for 2-3 days.
