Composition
Active substance:
1 tablet contains 50 mg itopride.
Product form:
Film-coated tablets.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to itopride any auxiliary component or medication; patients with gastrointestinal bleeding, mechanical obstruction or perforation; children’s age (16 years); pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions: by strengthening the action of acetylcholine itopride, should be used with caution because of the possible development of adverse events in cholinergic category of patients for which their appearance may worsen the course of the underlying disease. Itopride should be used with caution in elderly patients because of the frequent reduction in liver and kidney, the presence of other concomitant disorders or treatments.

Indications
Applied for the treatment of gastrointestinal symptoms associated with delayed gastric motility and functional non-ulcer dyspepsia (chronic gastritis), such as bloating, early satiety, a feeling of fullness in the stomach after eating, pain or discomfort in the epigastric region, anorexia, heartburn, nausea and vomiting.
Interaction with other drugs
Metabolic interactions is hardly possible, as Itopride metabolized by the action of the flavin monooxygenase and not SYR450. Itopride enhances gastric motility, so it can affect the absorption of other drugs that are prescribed inside. Particular caution should be observed in the use of drugs with a low therapeutic index, as well as sustained release forms of the active agent or agents with an enteric coating. Anticholinergic agents can mitigate the effects itopride.
Overdose
Cases of overdose have not been described in humans. In overdose shown gastric lavage and symptomatic therapy.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
