Preparation Espumizan® baby reduces the amount of gases in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT). Active ingredient – Simethicone has surfactant properties and the ability to reduce surface tension at the liquid / gas medium, thereby merging the gas bubbles and foam collapse in the intestine, whereby the released gas is sucked or derived naturally under the influence of intestinal peristalsis. Use of simethicone in preparation for diagnostic studies of the abdominal cavity prevents the image defects caused by gas bubbles.
Pharmacokinetics:
Simethicone is chemically inert after ingestion is not absorbed from the digestive tract and acts only in its lumen. It does not interact with microorganisms and enzymes and does not affect the process of digestion. Displayed intestine in an unmodified form.

Dosing and Administration
