Indications

Pharmacological properties:
The substance of peptide origin, a synthetic hexapeptide, the endogenous opioid receptor antagonist. Inhibits proteolysis and promotes healing of gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers. Has a moderate antisecretory activity, it reduces the acidity of gastric juice. Inhibits pancreatic external secretion in response to various stimuli (food, secretin et al.). In lesions in pancreas experiment demonstrated that the drug reduces hyperfermentemia limits the necrosis and promotes their complete replacement tissue, weakens the synthesis of proteolytic enzymes by the pancreas. It has a slight hypotensive effect.

Dosing and Administration
