Product form:
Eye drops 0.25%.
Contraindications

Indications
Bacterial infections of the eye caused by sensitive microflora: -konyunktivit; -keratit; -blefarit, Blepharoconjunctivitis; -keratokonyunktivit; -neyroparalitichesky keratitis in the presence of a secondary bacterial infection.
Interaction with other drugs
Simultaneous with the appointment drugs, oppressive blood (sulfonamides, cytostatics), affecting the metabolism of the liver, with radiation therapy – increases the risk of side effects. When applied simultaneously with erythromycin, clindamycin, lincomycin marked weakening mutual action due to the fact that chloramphenicol can displace these drugs from a bound state or inhibit their binding to the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosomes. When administered with oral hypoglycemic drugs marked enhancement of their action by inhibiting the metabolism in the liver and increasing their plasma concentrations. Chloramphenicol inhibits cytochrome P450 enzyme system, so while the use of phenobarbital, phenytoin, indirect anticoagulants marked attenuation of metabolism of these drugs, slow excretion and increasing their plasma concentrations. It reduces the antibacterial effect of penicillins and cephalosporins.

Pharmacological properties:
Bacteriostatic broad spectrum antibiotic, gives the protein synthesis in the microbial cell (having a liposoluble penetrates the cell membrane bacteria and reversibly binds to the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, which is delayed movement of amino acids to growing peptide chains, which leads to violation of protein synthesis). It is effective against strains of bacteria that are resistant to penicillin, tetracycline, sulfonamides. It is active against Escherichia coli, Haemophilus influenzae, Klebsiella pneumoniae, some species of Enterobacter (Aerobacter), species of Neisseria, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus spp. (Including Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus hemolyticus), Moraxella lacunata, rickettsiae and mycoplasmas. He is effective against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Serratia marcescens.
Pharmacokinetics:
