Composition
Active substance:
100 g of the preparation contains: Adriatic Sea water – 25 g
The presence of ions: Na + – min. 1.90 mg / ml; Ca2 + – min. 0.06 mg / ml; Mg2 + – min. 0.25 mg / ml; Cl- – min. 4.10 mg / ml; SO4 2- – min. 0.45 mg / ml; HCO3 – – min. 0.025 mg / ml.
Excipients:
Panthenol 75 L (at least 75% dexpanthenol) * – 1.33 g; Purified water – 73.67 g * Panthenol 75L – an aqueous solution containing at least 75% (R) -pantenola stabilized with approximately 1% D-pantolactone.
It does not contain preservatives.

Indications
Aqua Plus Maris® shows: for the treatment and prevention of atrophic rhinitis and subatrophic; for cleaning and moistening the nasal mucosa in inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity, sinuses and nasopharynx, including pregnant women and lactating; in the treatment of allergic and vasomotor rhinitis (especially to persons predisposed or suffering increased sensitivity to medicines, including pregnant women and during lactation); for the prevention of infections in the nasal cavity of the autumn and winter period (including pregnant women and lactating); patients suffering from dryness of the mucosa of the nasal cavity and persons, who live and work in areas with conditioned air and / or central heating, in order to maintain the physiological characteristics of the nasal mucosa in altered microclimatic conditions; people, mucosa of the upper respiratory tract is constantly exposed to harmful influences (smokers, car drivers, people working in the hot and dusty shops, as well as being in regions with severe climatic conditions); the elderly for the prevention of age-related atrophic changes of the nasal mucosa.
Interaction with other drugs
Since the drug has no systemic effect on the body, interactions with other drugs is not registered. Can be used with other drugs used to treat rhinitis.

Pharmacological properties:
Aqua Maris® Plus is a sterile isotonic solution containing in its composition seawater and dexpanthenol. Dexpanthenol – a derivative of pantothenic acid. Pantothenic acid – water-soluble vitamin B complex – is a component of coenzyme A. Panthenol stimulates mucosal regeneration and normalizes cell metabolism, has regenerating and weak anti-inflammatory action. When injected into the nasal cavity Aqua Maris® Plus moisturizes the mucosa and stimulates the regeneration has trophic effects on the oral mucosa cells nose. The preparation promotes liquefaction of mucus and normalization of its production of goblet cells in the nasal mucosa. Trace elements included in the formulation, improves the function of the ciliated epithelium, which enhances the oral mucosa resistance nose and paranasal sinuses to the introduction of pathogenic bacteria and viruses.

Dosing and Administration
With therapeutic purposes: children from 1 year to 7 years, 4 times a day for two-spray in each nostril; children from 7 to 16 years old: 4-6 times a day for two injections in each nostril; children from 16 years and adults: 4-8 times a day for two – three-spray in each nostril.
The course of treatment in all cases is 2-4 weeks (at the discretion of the attending physician).
It is recommended to repeat the course of a month.
With prophylactic purposes: children from 1 year to 7 years old: 1-3 times a day for one – two-spray in each nostril; children from 7 to 16 years old: 2-4 times a day for two injections in each nostril; children from 16 years and adults: 3-6 times a day for two – three-spray in each nostril.
