Composition
Active substance:
1 g of gel contains 11.60 mg of diclofenac diethylamine (respectively sodium diclofenac 10 mg).
Excipients:
Isopropanol, carbomer 940, polysorbate 80, benzyl alcohol, sodium disulfite, sorbitol, trolamine, purified water.
Description:
The clear, colorless homogeneous gel.
Product form:
Gel for external application of 1%.
40 g of the gel in an aluminum tube, sealed with a screw cap made of plastic. The opening of the tube is protected by an aluminum membrane. The cap is a monolithic structure, including a device for piercing the membrane. The tube together with instructions for use placed into cardboard pack.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to diclofenac or other ingredients, acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs. Full or partial combination of asthma, recurrent nasal polyposis and paranasal sinuses and intolerance to acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs (history). Pregnancy (III trimester), lactation, infancy (up to 12 years), impaired skin integrity.

Indications
Inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system (rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic, juvenile chronic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatic soft tissue, gouty arthritis); traumatically caused by inflammation of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints (due to sprains, bruises and under a load).
Interaction with other drugs
The drug can increase the effects of drugs that cause photosensitization.
Clinically significant interactions are not described with other drugs.
Overdose
Symptoms due to low systemic absorption when the gel applications, overdose unlikely. In case of accidental ingestion may develop systemic side effects. Treatment: gastric lavage, induction of vomiting, activated charcoal, forced diuresis, symptomatic therapy. Dialysis is not effective due to high degree of protein binding of diclofenac (about 99%).
